Robert was a Rifleman, service number S/36770, and served in ‘’A’’ Company 2ed Battalion the Rifle Brigade and died 19th of February 1918 at Ypres in Belgium. He is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial Panel 145 to 147. Tyne Cot [1] is the largest CWGC cemetery on the Western front with 11953 burials.
