The Stantons children married, Knight, England, Glyde and Bourne and later Ensor. This introduces the Bourne Pottery and a large glove-making business in Milborne Port. Henry Stanton II and his wife Mary both made complicated wills, referring to their son and four daughters with their spouses, each with children, and specifically excluding their eldest daughter, apparently for her early marriages.

Henry Stanton II was christened Apr 21,1745, Thorncombe presumed the son of Catherine Pye and Henry Stanton I, married Sep 27,1742, Thorncombe, nr Axminster. Henry II a clothier, first married Mary Jeans, at Winsham, nr Chard,Jun16, 1760, and three children are shown, George,chr Sep 10, 1760,Thomas, 1761 and Mary, 1766. It is assumed that Mary Jeans died about this time, and henry Stanton, widower, married Mary Adams,at Winsham.,Oct 15, 1769. Their eldest daughter, chr, Aug 5, 1770 Sarah, was disowned in some way, a she was excluded from their wills, though her offspring are referred to. They had a son, William,chr Oct 30,1772, Thorncombe. He married Lydia Knight, by licence, at Lodors, Dec 1, 1807. William and Lydia had six children

There are then four daughters, all mentioned along with the sons-in -law, in the two wills.

Mary Stanton,b.Apr 2, Chr Apr 12,1777, Chard, married Robert Elliot, carpenter,Mar 22, 1802, son of James Elliott and Mary Warren,m. Oct 10, 1771,Broadwindsor. There was a brother Thomas Elliott,chr Jul25,1772. No children found.
Elizabeth Stanton, ( Betty or Betsy, in the wills), chr.Apr 18,1779, married Samuel Gilly,b.Feb 6 1771,Ilsington, son of William and Agnes Gilly. A marriage Licence Bond. Jun 16, 1819 was issued for Samuel Gussel Gelly (sic) mason, and Elizabeth Stanton,both of Lyme Regis. Samuel Guzzle Gelly. mason, and Betsey Stanton, married by Licence Jun17,1819.The wills stress that her legacy should not come under the control of her husband or used to pay his debts. One daughter, Elizabeth Stanton Gilley, chr Apr 27,1820.Combe Street Chapel, Lyme Regis. At her marriage her father is shown a Samuel Gussel Gilley, baker.
Ann Stanton,chr Feb8, 1762,married, in Lyme Regis, Aug 10, 1803, William England. Four children. George, b. Feb 3, chr Mar 31, 1806. Louisa,b. 1804, married Joseph Walker Bourne,1828, son of William and Hannah Bourne, m. 1797.
Catherine Stanton born ca 1786, married in Lyme Regis, Dec 23,1807, William Glyde, chr. Sep 8, 1782, Hawkchurch.Flora, b.Jan 17,1815, and William, b.May 15, 1817, both chr. at Combe St Chapel, Lyme R.
Henry died, buried Dec 4, 1813, aged 70. Mary his wife was buried May 3, 1825, aged 78.
