Help:New Web Pages how to

All web pages other than person pages MUST start with "Web:".

Say you want to create a web page for Arnold Safroni Middleton's poems. By convention we start all web pages with the person's initials, so on Arnold's page somewhere you'd put

[[Web:CS Poems|Poems]]

You'd save it and then click on the new Poems link.

This will bring up a completely blank page (no templates).

Enter your stuff.

For a backlink to Arnold's page you'd end the new page with a line that looks like

[[Arnold Safroni Middleton|Back to Arnold's page]]

Links to other people page within this wiki look just the same - to link to

Arnold's daughter Joan you might enter

[Arnold Safroni Middleton|Arnold]]'s daughter [[Joan Middleton|Joan]]

To enter a link to wikiredia enter something like

[[wp:James Augustus St John|James Augustus St John]]

A hyperlink to any other website looks like this

[http://www.apogeect.com Frank's business website]

Images are easy -- enter

[[Image:image.png]]

where image.png is a name to be used in the database that is reasonably descriptive. It doesn'tt have to be the same name as the original image.
