Help:Disambiguation
[edit] Disambiguation
If the two people with similar names have different middle names, use them in the page name. In general, using a middle name in a page name is not a bad idea..
To disambiguate people with identical names, (say Daniel Middleton the elder and his son Daniel Middleton), we use Roman numerals such as "I" and "II" in their page names. So Daniel Middleton II would have
|father=Daniel Middleton I
and when you click on Daniel Middleton I you would be creating a page named Daniel Middleton I. with
|forename=Daniel |middlenames= |lastname=Middleton |nickanme= |suffix=I
