Frederick Allingham. Westcott, born Mar Q.,1869, Bognor, Sussex., Mathematics assistant. in 1891

He was of a distinguished naval family, with several admirals. I found a trace in a book that I bought, of Spenser's. HAYTI,1889.I traced an inscription on the Flyleaf thus: " I was associated with Sir Spenser St John while he ws Chargé d'Affaires in Hayti, during one of the many revolutions.he was an exceedingly able man, one of the bravest of men, and a most agreeable companion. A.H.A." This turned out to have been sold in a book sale by the descendant of Cayt Allingham who went to Hayti in a gun-boat H.M.S Boxer to help quell the riots. Alingham and the Boxer appear in the book. I have traced his family back a few generations.
