We are not sure if Frank and Nellie [Middleton] had any children, but Nell mentions Eunice in her notebooks, so we believe she existed and was Nell's step daughter (source - the 1901 census). It says that Eunice was born circa 1893 in the United States and we know that her parents lived in New York for a time. She lived with her parents Frank and Maude N Mellersh in London. Maude was Nelly's middle name, and Aunt Nell does, at one point in her diaries, have the name Maude in brackets next to her cousin's name.
