Eliza Caroline Agar Hansard, born in Kingswood, on the edge of Bristol, about 1797, married James Augustus St.John in December 1819. She was present at her sister Ann"s wedding on April 27, 1819. She is said to have been a lady of great beauty and accomplishments. She died in London in 1867.

She married James Augustus ST_John I, married 22 Dec 1819 in Westminster, Saint Anne, Soho; b. 24 Sep 1795 in Laugharne, Wales; occupation Author, Editor of Newspaper, Gentleman; d. 22 Sep 1875; aged 79, gentleman, of 44 St John's Wood Tce, Marylebone; buried: in Highgate Cemetery. Eliza died Nov 1867 in London. Lived in London, Caen in Normandy & Lausanne. Switzerland Children: Their large family were all diplomats, authors & travellers of fame. Eliza is said to have been a lady of great beauty and accomplishments. James: Heresay says he was Grandson of Lord Bolingbroke.

Cause of death given as shock to nervous system by explosion on Canal, Oct 2nd. Bronchitis, 21 days. In attendance, Percy B St John. son, 3 Heath Mount. Hampstead.
