Ran the household on Palace Road in Streatham Hill for many years until she moved to a smaller house in the late '50s a few years after Arnold died...

Her grandson Frank remembers cutting her lawn and watching Dr. Who on TV at her cozy house on many Saturday nights in the late '60s. Her nephew Robert mentioned that she had visited her daughter Joan Middleton in Melbourne in the '60s.
